En un pequeño pueblo de Oregon han comenzado a aparecer unos misteriosos círculos en los maizales de Joe Vossimer (Stephen Baldwin - Sospechosos Habituales).

Cuando su primo Layne (A.J. Buckley - Comportamiento Perturbado) se topa con estas extrañas formas en compañía de sus cinco amigos de la universidad y del Sheriff Willingham (Billy Zane- Titanic), un insondable terror se desencadena.
