SYNOPSIS

Robert Redford, Meryl Streep y Tom Cruise ofrecen tres magníficas interpretaciones en este drama poderoso y provocativo que estudia las consecuencias del compromiso.
En California, un profesor idealista, (Redford) intenta animar a uno de sus estudiantes a que saque más partido a su vida; en Washington D.C., un carismático senador (Cruise) presenta una nueva estrategia para el Oriente Medio a una escéptica periodista televisiva (Streep); y en el otro lado del mundo, en Afganistán, dos antiguos estudiantes del profesor quedan atrapados bajo las líneas enemigas, luchando por la libertad y por sus vidas.
