SYNOPSIS

En 1943 la guerra está devastando Italia.

Una mujer, Cesira, y su hija de 13 años, Rosetta, abandonan Roma ante la intensidad de los bombardeos aliados.

Se dirigen hacia el pueblo donde nació Cesira.

Pero la adversidad se ceba en ellas...

Un grupo de soldados las violan en una iglesia.

Uno de los grandes éxitos personales de Sophia Loren, encarnando a una mujer que es violada por soldados del ejército enemigo, junto con su jovencísima hija.

Se inspira en un original de Alberto Moravia y permite ver a un novel Jean-Paul Belmondo.
