Denzel Washington hace un debut triunfal como director en esta apasionante historia de supervivencia y triunfo, en la que Derek Luke brilla en su primer papel para la pantalla grande.

Basada en las experiencias reales de su personaje protagonista, Antwone Fisher narra la fascinante historia de un marino con desórdenes (Luke) a quien se le obliga a visitar a un psiquiatra naval (Washington) debido a su humor inestable.
